Underwater Art: Beauty with a Mission
I love that MUSA was created to address the impact of tourism on coral reefs and promote marine conservation. It serves as an artificial reef, diverting over 850,000 divers and snorkelers each year from fragile natural areas while providing new habitats for marine life.

What is Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease and What Are we Doing About t?

This disease destroys the soft tissue of at least 23 species of reef-building corals, killing them within weeks or months of becoming infected. Due to its rapid spread, high mortality rate, and lack of subsidence, it has been regarded as the deadliest coral disease ever recorded.
